Few places are as biologically diverse as South Eastern Louisiana. At its center is the estuary that is Lake Pontchartrain flanked to the west and south by the Mississippi River, the east by the Pearl River and emptying into the Gulf of Mexico. In this region we can find a wide range of fauna that range from alligators to ospreys and beyond.
